“Olympia LOVES being a big sister” said mother Serena Williams on her elder daughter, Olympia’s sisterhood with Adira, in November 2023. On previous occasions, ReRe has revealed how much Olympia “prayed for a sister” when she realized her mother was pregnant with her second child. Since Adira’s birth, in August 2023, Olympia’s affection for her as an elder sister has been growing. And now it becomes evident from a heartwarming moment shared by their mother Serena.

Serena posted a new clip on her TikTok account on Sunday, while giving a glimpse into her life as a mother. With Myles Smith’s track ‘A Minute…’ running in the background, it featured Serena having the best time of her life with her daughters.

The clip shows both the sisters playing on an indoor swing as their mother watches them, enjoying their childhood moments. Moreover, elder sister Olympia is seen giving special attention to Adira. The 7-year-old can be seen holding her in her arms, just like her mother, and playing games with her. The video clearly depicts their precious bond with one another.

At the CFDA Fashion Awards in November last year, Williams opened up about how her daughter, Olympia, is adapting to her new role as a big sister. “She’s navigating it. She loves it,” the tennis pro told Entertainment Tonight. “Adira’s, like, a tiny little baby, so Olympia just calls her her little sis…She’s been happy about how everything’s worked out.”

Earlier this year, in March, Serena shared a moment on her Instagram where Olympia was spotted holding her baby sister. “Big sister hard at work with baby sis @olympiaohanian @adiraohanian”, wrote the mother while captioning the adorable picture.

To this, father Alexis Ohanian replied in the comments “Name a more iconic duo. I’ll wait.” A year ago, in August, Olympia was also seen holding Adira after her birth. Seems like Olympia is learning all the best attributes of being the best sister at an early stage of her life. Even her father believes that she has gained maturity at a young age.

Earlier this year during an interview, Alexis appeared with Olympia. When asked about her personality outside of the clips shared on social media, he had an honest answer to share. “Olympia is easily the most amazing little human I have met, and she’s a great big sister,” he said while praising Olympia as an elder sibling.

On top of it, he also admired his wife for being an ideal mother. “The one credit that I gotta give, Serena is an amazing mom, and one of the things we do is just really prioritize, just trying to show up for our kids,and it’s a great way to say take your daughter to work,” he said. On a previous occasion as well, he had nothing but praise for his daughter.

In a different interview, he mentioned how Olympia is turning into a responsible and caring sister of Adira. “She’s able to have a lot more fun with her sister in terms of playing. You can already see the interactions between them,” he said. Continuing further, he mentioned that Olympia has already developed a maternal spirit for her sister. “It’s a big age gap, and Olympia has a little bit of that maternal spirit. She’s like, ‘This is my baby,’ and it’s great to see them together,” he concluded.
