Serena Williams’ husband addresses the climate change problem
The 23-time Grand Slam champion’s better half, Alexis Ohanian, took to Instagram to notify people about the climate change issue. Further, through his 776 Foundation, Alexis has taken an initiative in the right direction. He wants students to drop out of college and work on climate. Moreover, the foundation will offer 20 young people $100k every year for the next decade.

Lissie Garvin, 776 Foundation and Fellowship Program Director, said that it will enable fund builders whose work will support marginalized people. Further, she added, “Whether it be developing a new climate tech start-up or organizing around issues impacting climate refugees, there is endless potential to explore.”
The 776 Foundation is a venture capital firm, founded by builders, built with software, in order to be the very best at supporting founders that are changing the world. The 776 Fellowship Program will bring together a class of solution-seekers who have grown up keenly aware of climate change and are driven to create solutions.
