Caroline Wozniacki on Serena’s comeback
Caroline Wozniacki and Serena Williams are long-time friends. Despite the two facing each other on the court on numerous occasions, they have built a strong bond off of it. Recently, Serena gave a hint of her comeback to the professional circuit. At first, she lauded Tom Brady, who took a retirement U-Turn, followed by another hint at San Francisco.
However, Wozniacki believes that Serena is not going to make a professional tennis comeback again. Here’s what she said in a chat with the Tennis Channel.

“I don’t think so. She plays an exhibition that would be likely, but I don’t think we will see her back playing, I am sure.”
Wozniacki further explained why she thinks so. “There are so many things going on. I mean, she loves the game so much. It’s been her life for so many years. At the same time, she is busy.”
Wozniacki also spoke about how she is trying hard to catch up with her. “I am trying to track her down. Now she’s in Miami. So I’m like let’s grab a coffee, let’s grab a drink, a dinner. She has a million things going on but I don’t think we will see her on the professional tennis court again,” she concluded.
Wozniacki has made a calculated prediction. However, on many occasions, we have seen Serena surprising us. So it won’t be wrong to say that anything is still possible.
