Serena Williams’ comic digital series gets launched on DirecTV
Interestingly, fans will now see the portrayal of Serena as the ‘Wonder Woman’ in a digital comic series. She recently did an advertisement on DirecTV in which saw played the role of Wonder Woman.

The commercial got such a huge response that her comic character is now featuring in a four-part series- ‘Serving Up Justice’. Its chapter one is out and available on DirecTV.
In addition, a Twitter emoji and a Snapchat AR filter will get released on October 6, 2021. Thus, fans can actually picture themselves in a Serena-inspired Wonder Woman filter now.

Serena in the 2021 tennis season
On the tennis court, Serena hasn’t quite enjoyed a vintage season in 2021. She is yet to win a title on the WTA tour despite delivering some good performances at the Grand Slams.

The 40-year-old got off to a great start at the Australian Open 2021. She defeated many top-seeded players and reached the semi-finals. Even though she failed to get past beyond this stage, she played some really attacking tennis in Melbourne.
Williams failed to deliver on both clay and grass courts this year. While she couldn’t go past the pre-quarters at the French Open 2021, a leg injury ruled her out of the Wimbledon Championships 2021 without completing a single set there.
