Dressed in all white with a cowboy hat, fluffy coat and riding on a white horse, Beyonce started off with ’16 CARRIAGES.’ Then, she moved to ‘Blackbird’ by The Beatles, joined by Tiera Kennedy, Tanna Adell, Reyna Roberts and Brittney Spencer. The excitement soared high when she continued to perform crowd favorites like, ‘Ya Ya’ and ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ with the set design inclining a full marching band, a denim-covered truck, and the spectacle of the singer being lifted high on a platform to close the show. “Merry Christmas, god bless y’all,” Beyonce said at the end. Queen Bey left Serena Williams, the ‘Queen of the Court,’ and her husband impressed!

She was later even joined by her daughter Blue Ivy Carter on stage and special guests like Post Malone and Shaboozey also added an extra bit of entertainment value to this mega event. While, Serena Williams tweeted, “Honestly can’t get enough of you @Beyonce,” Ohanian said, “Beyonce Bowl had some Super Bowl level production 😮‍💨.”

However, their love for the singer isn’t something new.

Beyonce was one of the 200 guests invited to Serena Williams’ wedding to Reddit, co-founder Alexis Ohanian. Beyonce and Williams have been running in the same circles since the 32-time Grammy winner was a member of Destiny’s Child. The pair were first introduced to each other in 2004 by Kelly Rowland. 

In 2015, Serena Williams even did a parody video of Beyonce’s ‘7/11’. During the 2016 Wimbledon Championships, both Beyonce and Jay Z were spotted making their presence felt at the SW19. Highlighting their incredible support for her, Serena Williams once said,

Fun fact: Beyoncé is a seasoned performer at major NFL events. She headlined the 2013 Super Bowl and collaborated with Coldplay and Bruno Mars in 2016. In 2024, she used a Super Bowl ad to announce “Cowboy Carter,” the sequel to her acclaimed 2023 album “Renaissance.” “Cowboy Carter” was released in March and garnered 11 Grammy nominations.
