He added that he is still figuring out a way to be the best one at some point when his daughter, after growing up, runs some searches and finds the best thing about her father. Not only that, but he also talked about how rushing for money may be a part of his becoming a better father. He said, “I went from being accountable to millions and millions of strangers on the internet.” And that gave him “clarity that came from becoming a dad,” he added. 

The Reddit co-founder might have been a picture-perfect entrepreneur to a lot of people out there. He said, “Especially to a daughter of color, and especially with a mom, who… I have a front-row seat to the shit that she deals with. I want to make sure that there’s just as many people who go up to my daughter. And tell her how proud they are of her dad, and that the things that her dad did were remarkable.”
