Being a household name on the women’s tour, the 29-year-old player recently bagged an endorsement deal with a renowned fitness and sportswear brand.

Jabeur has been an outspoken supporter of Saudi Arabia’s potential investments in the tennis circuit. Further, the WTA superstar has now made history by becoming the first player on the tour to be the face of Saudi’s PIF-owned fitness and wellness brand.

‘Kayanee’, Saudi Arabia’s PIF-owned fitness and sportswear brand, has joined hands with their first-ever brand ambassador from the tennis circuit. Ons Jabeur, who has long been associated with Lotto Sport Italia, will now be seen donning exclusive tennis outfits designed by the integrated company.

The Egyptian sports journalist, Reem Abulleil, recently shared the news about Jabeur’s sponsorship deal on social media. She tweeted, “Tunisian tennis star Ons Jabeur has signed a new sponsorship deal with Saudi Arabia’s PIF-owned fitness and wellness brand Kayanee.”

The current number 6 player, who has decided not to play any tournaments before the Australian Open, will debut the ‘exclusive tennis line’ during her participation in the first Grand Slam event of the season. While expressing her excitement about the endorsement deal, Jabeur also revealed that she is not doing it for the ‘money’ but for a noble cause.

Chaired by Princess Reema Bandar Al Saud, Kayanee was established in 2023 to promote a quality lifestyle for women through fitness, sportswear, and wellness products. Speaking about her collaboration with Saudi Arabia’s brand in an interview with The National, Jabeur revealed that she is ‘thrilled’ to be part of the pioneering brand for women in the kingdom.

The Tunisian tennis star also opened up about how she is not collaborating for money, as she just aims to provide opportunities for younger women to pursue their goals. She said, “It’s not about the money, for me it’s about giving a chance to younger women, or any women to practice sports and discover amazing things.”
