Both the players have met each other on three occasions in their careers. Currently, Coco Gauff leads the H2H scoreline with a 2-1 margin. In their first meeting at the 2021 Dubai Tennis Championships, Gauff defeated Alexandrova in a three-set thriller. After that, they faced each other at the 2023 Gras Court Championships in Berlin. The Russian tennis star came back strongly in that match and defeated the American comfortably by 6-4, 6-0, Although, Coco Gauff earned a victory in their last meeting at the 2023 China Open, this match is surely going to be an epic showdown of ‘vengeance on court’. During a recent interview, the 20-year-old American tennis star said, “Last year I didn’t do so well, so there’s nothing to lose. I’m really happy to be back on grass.” Coco Gauff reached the SF here in 2022, while her opponent made it to the semis last year in Berlin. This will be Gauff’s first match on grass this season and she has a win-loss record of 19-8 on this surface. Looking at her form it looks most likely that she’d end up on the winning side.
