The same is true of the American tennis star Taylor Townsend who embraced motherhood a few seasons back when she announced her first child. Ever since then, the 27-year-old player is juggling parental responsibilities while also prioritizing her game.
Notably, after a hectic campaign in the grass-court event in London, the WTA star has reunited with her son. Now that she was back in her home country, the former world No. 61 player also cherished a special moment with her “best friend.”

The American tennis star lived in London for a considerable period, as she marked her participation in the doubles event of the Wimbledon Championships. In the women’s double event, Taylor Townsend teamed up with the Canadian tennis star, Leylah Annie Fernandez. The pair got knocked out after their second-round match.
The WTA player also participated in the mixed doubles event, where she paired up with the British ATP player, Jamie Murray. The American-British tennis duo, however, exited the competition after a thrilling round of 16 in the grass-court major event. Now, after a hectic campaign, Townsend is back at her home, relishing some exceptional moments with her 2-year-old kid.
It came to the public lens when the former world No. 61 player uploaded a heartfelt dance video clip on her Instagram story. In that video clip, the 27-year-old tennis star was spotted showcasing some brilliant dance moves alongside her little one. She also added a caption, “best friend tings”
The American player clarified that she is diligently following her parental duties for her child, who serves as an inspiration. Nevertheless, the Tennis star had also previously outlined that her little one motivates her.

Townsend previously disclosed how the little one inspires her
After making come back to the women’s circuit, the 27-year-old player had a decent Australian Open campaign this season. Speaking about the same on her social media, Townsend previously revealed how her child pushes her to strive for success on the court. She said, “I talk to him, and before my matches, I look at pictures and videos and just remind myself of, like, why I’m doing this.”
