“Y’all are not ready for her 😍 Golf is a family thing!” Remember when Alexis Ohanian proudly gushed over his daughter Olympia’s budding golf skills back in 2023? Well, it seems Olympia’s swing has only gotten sharper since then, and Ohanian is back at it—setting the internet ablaze with dad goals once again! Serena Williams’ husband might have a packed schedule, but when it comes to his daughters, he always finds the time to be present for them. Ohanian knows how to wear his dad hat with pride and this time, it’s Olympia’s golfing prowess that has him raving all over again.

The 41-year-old ‘Business Dad’ is often seen going on the golf course with his daughter, as the duo engage in some intense sessions. Now, with Olympia continuously amping up her skills, Ohanian couldn’t be happier. Taking to his Instagram story, the Reddit co-founder shared a post by Black Active Golf in which the 7-year-old can be hitting some amazing golf shots. Like any other proud dad, Ohanian seems to be in complete awe of his young daughter.

Sharing words of admiration for Olympia, Alexis Ohanian lauded her golfing skills. “So proud of this girl @olympiaohanian,” he wrote. Interestingly, in one of the earlier stories, he shared a picture of himself as well. Captioning it, he wrote, “At least the view is nice.” This, however, is not the first time when Olympia’s athletic prowess or Ohanian’s words of admiration for his daughter have come to light. 

On December 28 last year, Ohanian took to his X account celebrating Olympia’s growth in the sport. Dropping a candid father-daughter picture he wrote, “Jr got four stokes for this hole and got par so proud.” For the unversed, a ‘par’ in golf is the number of strokes one is expected to take to complete a hole or round of holes. Remember, Olympia has been practicing the sport for quite some time now, having started training a few years back. 

In April 2024, Olympia was seen enjoying her time at a golf course with her star mother Serena Williams, as she geared up to hit a shot. This was followed by another shoutout in May when Alexis shared a picture on his social media and wrote “Took @OlympiaoOhanian out for some practice. Y’all aren’t ready.” Besides, Olympia became the co-owner of the Los Angeles Golf Club in 2023, the first team in Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s tech-infused golf league, TGL. Hence, one can anticipate that she has her admiration growing towards the sport quite remarkably. But this is not the only passion that Olympia seems to be following. Her ever-involved father is backing her with great support and is ready to let her pursue whichever sport she wants. 

When Alexis Ohanian expressed his support for daughter’s diverse interests

Being the daughter of tennis great Serena Williams, one can anticipate Olympia following the footsteps of her legendary mother. In fact, the mother-daughter duo are often spotted hitting some balls on the courts as Williams is seen engaging and giving some great tips to her daughter. But with Olympia’s interest lying in various other activities, she has a stolid backer in her dad.

When a user asked about Olympia’s sporting interests, Ohanian shared that he is ready to back her in whatever she chooses to do. “Whatever sports Jr wants to play! Here for it.” Olympia has also shown her interest in soccer and was also seen running on the tracks during the Athlos NYC, organized by her father. But besides her athletic skills, Olympia is also a fashion buff, just like her iconic mother.

“She’ll set up before bed what we need to wear in the morning. And she says, ‘Blue shirt, blue shirt, blue shirt.’ And then she goes, ‘Mama wear this or these shoes.’ She always tells me to [wear] heels,” Serena Williams once revealed about her daughter. Now, as time evolves, it would be interesting to see which sport or career path Olympia actually chooses. But one thing seems certain: both her parents will support her unconditionally in the journey.
