After securing the US Open title, Coco Guaff is not letting anyone take her down. Recently, she won her first-round match in her first tournament as a Grand Slam champion in China. Aside from that, she is also enjoying her off-court time in China. The 19-year-old American tennis sensation recently talked about her love of a popular dish that is well-known across the entire Asian country.
During her Beijing Open comeback, while the third-ranked tennis player’s racquet is giving answers on her behalf, she is busy with trying new things. While her racket is dealing with the on-court stress, Gauff is enjoying some Chinese food.

After the new US Open champion won her 13th straight match and advanced to the second round of the tournament, she made a huge revelation about her food preference for the time being. In an interview just after the match, she gave insight regarding how she is spending her time in the city while enjoying some amazing food. Subsequently, she also shared her favorite Chinese food item.
She said, “The fans here are really passionate. I really like the food. I like noodles a lot. I’ve been eating it for breakfast, lunch, & dinner.”

While she evenly praised Chinese cuisine as one of the best delicacies, she also talked about her love for noodles. She also shared how she has noodles for every meal of the day, while she is in China.
In addition, despite putting on a mature persona on the tennis court, the 19-year-old is just like the rest of Generation Z and occasionally loves experimenting with new foods. As a result, the third-ranked tennis player has an unrivaled passion for Asian food and never misses an opportunity to taste new cuisines with her doubles partner, Jessica Pegula, who herself is a foodie.

Just a few days ago, the 29-year-old American tennis player revealed her love for Japanese food. During the Tokyo Open 2023, in a press conference, Pegula revealed that the one thing she loves to eat there is the Shabu Shabu. Apart from that, when asked about what kind of sauce she prefers, in no time, the fourth-ranked tennis player highlighted that she loves sesame more than ponzu.
