Emma Raducanu stunned one and all with her performance during the US Open last year. Entering the tournament as a qualifier, she went on to lift her first Grand Slam title. She defeated Leylah Fernandez in the summit clash to win the biggest title of her nascent career. Moreover, she did it in style, without dropping a set en route to the title.

Emma Raducanu caught the attention of various brands across the globe with her massive US Open victory. She struck a deal with brands like Tiffany, Dior, Evian, British airways. Additionally, she signed a multi-million-pound partnership with Vodafone. Recently, she announced the news of her new partnership.
Emma Raducanu partners with Porsche
The British tennis star took to Twitter to confirm the news of her new deal with the supercar manufacturer. She said, “So happy to be part of the Porsche Family as an official Brand Ambassador! Ready for every moment our journey holds for us.” Raducanu was pictured with a £27,000 classic 911 Carerra 3.2.

Opening up on her new partnership, Raducanu said, “Porsche has always been in my head. It is one of the brands that I’ve loved from a young age. One of my coaches had a 911 Targa. Yeah, cool coach. Whenever I would see him I would be like dreaming of one day sitting on my own.”
Further, she added, “It’s important for me to align with partners and brands that I really feel passionate about and that I identify with. And I feel like because motorsports has always been a part of me, I think this partnership with Porsche is incredible.”
Raducanu’s 2022 season
After the US Open success last year, things haven’t gone her way this season. She began this year at the Sydney Tennis Classic. However, she was blown away in the tournament opener, losing 0-6, 1-6. Further, she had a disappointing Australian Open run, losing in the second round.

The brit was forced to retire in the deciding set of her first-round contest at Guadalajara Open due to an injury to her left hip. Subsequently, in Indian Wells, she reached the third round before losing to Petra Martic in the round-of-32.

Aiming to break into the top-10 of the WTA rankings, Raducanu will be determined to make a strong comeback in Miami where she’ll face the winner of the match between Katerina Siniakova and a qualifier in the second round.
Further, if she overcomes her opponent in the second round, she will potentially be up against the former World Number 1, Simona Halep in the third round.
