Yesterday, 27th March, Venus Williams attended the 2022 Academy Awards, as a part of team King Richard. As always, the 41-year-old left no stone unturned, ensuring her fashion game was on point and top. Appearing at Oscars as the producer of King Richard. She opted for a white front open one-piece dress, along with grey wrist wearables. She completed her stunning look with a high ponytail.

The legendary player in no time started receiving love, blessings, and appreciation for her look. However, amongst the numerous appreciations, it was Japanese star Naomi Osaka’s Instagram story that took the limelight.
Naomi Osaka gives the crown to Venus Williams
Naomi Osaka has been vocal about her love for Venus Williams for a long time. Osaka, also a former World No. 1, has often been heard calling Venus her idol. Today was no different. Today, 28th March, Naomi Osaka took to her Instagram, posting a story. The story was a reshare of her idol Venus Williams’s Instagram post.
Even though Osaka opted to not write anything in the story, her emoticons said it all. She posted the story with a crown emoticon. She coupled the crown emoticon with a joined hands emoticon. Even though she did speak anything about the emoticons, presuming what she might have meant is, ‘You are the queen’.
In the original post of Venus, the player posed on stairs covered with plants and trees all over. She captioned the post, “I’ve tried my best to prepare for every moment in life. I’ve trained my mind, body soul and spirit to be prepared and ready for anything that comes my way. Until now…. Until now…I could have never dreamed or prepared to be at the Academy awards for a film that tells my FAMILY’S story. This is beyond my dream. What can I tell you. Keep dreaming. Keep working. Osaka and Venus on the tour

On the tennis front, Venus Williams has been out of the tour since her first-round loss at the 2021 WTA Chicago Women’s Open. On the other hand, Naomi Osaka is currently playing at the WTA 1000 Miami Open. Geeting a third-round walkover, she will now play Alison Riske in the fourth round.
