After battling for 13 years on the tennis court, Caroline Wozniacki finally found Grand Slam success in 2018. The Danish star defeated Simona Halep in the summit clash to win the 2018 Australian Open title. It was the biggest win of her career and a thoroughly deserved one.
That became her only major title victory. The following year, Wozniacki tied the knot with the former professional basketball player, David Lee. The couple was blessed with their first child in June 2021. As Wozniacki’s daughter, Olivia, turns one tomorrow, the former World Number 1 opened up about her daughter.

Caroline Wozniacki talks about the favorite part of being a mother
During a question-and-answer session with fans on Instagram, Wozniacki was asked, “What is favorite part of being a mother?” Replying to the question, she said, “My favorite part is definitely to see her smile when she wakes up in the morning and she gives me that big smile which just warms my heart.”

Further, announcing the birth of her daughter last year, the Danish star had said, “Family of 3. Olivia Wozniacki Lee, born on June 11, 2021,” while sharing an adorable picture with her daughter and husband.
Wozniacki retired at the age of 29
After the Australian Open in 2020, the former World Number 1 announced an end to her tennis career. Revealing this news, she said, “I’ve played professionally since I was 15 years old. In that time I’ve experienced an amazing first chapter of my life. With 30 WTA singles titles, a world #1 ranking for 71 weeks, a WTA Finals victory, 3 Olympics, including carrying the flag for my native Denmark, and winning the 2018 Australian Open Grand slam championship, I’ve accomplished everything I could ever dream of on the court.”
