Aryna Sabalenka wears her heart on her sleeve, and so does her ever-supportive boyfriend Georgios Frangulis, who’s become a staple in her courtside box. From Madrid to Rome, the power couple has often stolen the show with their affectionate glances and unwavering support. During her heartfelt runner-up speech at the 2024 Italian Open, Sabalenka poured gratitude onto the man who stood by her through stormy days. Now, as she sets her sights on Stuttgart, the Brazilian returns the favor, lavishing the World No. 1 with praise in a stirring tribute that proves love, indeed, fuels champions.

Frangulis has remained a steadfast pillar of strength for Sabalenka, constantly showing his affection in subtle yet powerful ways. Whether courtside or in IG comment boxes, the entrepreneur never misses a moment to heap praise on the Belarusian star. Just last month, when Sabalenka shared a joyful recap of her Indian Wells journey, Frangulis chimed in with just 3 simple words: “Love those vibes ♥️.”

Weeks later, the Belarusian stunned at the players’ party in Stuttgart, pairing elegance with confidence in a navy-and-white ensemble. Her caption, “Double the trouble 👯‍♀️,” captured the fun spirit, while Frangulis’ heart and starry-eyed emojis in response to that showed he was completely smitten.

Recently, when Sabalenka followed up with more photos from Stuttgart, Frangulis once again gushed over his champion girlfriend with pride and devotion.

The Belarusian lit up her IG with a carousel of stunning practice shots from the courts of Stuttgart, offering fans a candid glimpse into her training routine. One photo captured her courtside, casually watching on a bucket of fruit, another showcased her trademark ferocious forehand in full motion, and the last black-and-white frame featured her leaving the court with quiet intensity. She cheekily captioned the post, “Patiently waiting @porschetennis 🤫,” stirring intrigue among her followers. But it was her beau, Frangulis, who stole the show in the comments, swooping in with a playful and passionate, “Patiently being pretty as f*ck 🤩.”

But, it’s not just Georgios Frangulis who showers love on social media; Sabalenka makes sure to return the affection. Last month, the Oakberry founder shared a carousel of photos on IG, capturing precious off-court moments with Sabalenka, including a few snaps with the other stars like Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz during the Miami Open. The post didn’t go unnoticed as Sabalenka swooped into the comments, sweetly writing, “Best time ❤️,” melting hearts across their fanbase.

While love overflows on social media, Sabalenka is also focused on securing victory at the Stuttgart Open, having previously experienced defeat in several finals.

“I have to do it,” Aryna Sabalenka is keen to win the Stuttgart Open

Aryna Sabalenka has long been a formidable force on the tour, known for her explosive power and relentless spirit. But despite a series of impressive performances across hard and clay courts, one trophy still eludes her grasp: the coveted Stuttgart Open title. Sabalenka has come agonizingly close, reaching the final 3 times. In 2021, she fell to Ashleigh Barty, while in 2022 and 2023, Iga Swiatek denied her the crown. Adding to the allure, Stuttgart offers not just prestige and prize money but also a sleek Porsche, making victory even sweeter.

“I want to finally win the Porsche this year. I lost three finals here against No.1s, so I was, like: ‘Okay, I have to do it. I have to come back here as the world number one,” Sabalenka said.

This year, the Belarusian is on a mission to win this tournament. As the top seed, she received a bye into the second round and later got a walkover into the QFs as well, when her scheduled opponent, Anastasia Potapova, withdrew because of injury. Now, the Belarusian is set to face a familiar face in Elise Mertens: her former doubles partner. While the two share a respectful rivalry, Sabalenka has historically had the upper hand, leading their H2H 8–2.

With her eyes firmly on that elusive Stuttgart title, Sabalenka will look to capitalize on her momentum and beat Mertens convincingly. Will she break her Stuttgart curse this time and go all the way? Well, the odds are certainly in her favor.
