Andre Agassi was among the most decorated tennis stars of his time. The American has eight Grand Slam titles to his name, and he was runner-up in seven other majors as well. The former world number one is among only five players from the open era to achieve a career Grand Slam. Apart from his career, the American had a popular love story. He married the German tennis great Steffi Graf in 2001 and the couple has two kids.

While many may not remember, the former world number 1 was married to actress Brooke Shields before getting into a relationship with Steffi Graf. Agassi revealed something weird in his book about the relationship he had with his ex-wife.
A relationship plagued with jealousy and distrust
In his book, Agassi mentioned his troubled marriage with Brooke Shields. The two had jealousy and distrust among themselves. He also revealed a strange thing Shields did to inspire herself.
“For motivation, she tapes a photo on the refrigerator door. It’s a photo of the perfect woman, she says. The perfect woman with the perfect legs—the legs Brooke wants. The photo is of Steffi Graf,” the book reads.
Agassi and Shields started dating in 1993. The couple married in 1997 and separated in 1999.
Andre Agassi pays tribute to Roger Federer
Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer recently retired from professional tennis. The 40-year-old last played in the Laver Cup. Partnering with Rafael Nadal, the former world number 1 went down to the American duo of Jack Sock and Frances Tiafoe.
As the match ended, there was an overflow of emotions, and fans all over the world paid their tribute to the retiring legend. Former world number one Andre Agassi also took to his Twitter account to write a heartfelt tribute to the modern great.
