Emma Raducanu, the current British no.1 WTA player, is the reigning US Open champion. Further, she is the only player other than Serena Williams to win a title in less than 35 game drops. The 19-year-old is constantly striving toward achieving the peak of her career and in the process, she has changed multiple coaches. Raducanu paired with Nigel Sears during her fourth-round run at Wimbledon last year. Thereafter, along with Andrew Richardson, she claimed her first Grand Slam trophy and broke the collaboration just after the event.
Following that, the Brit hired LTA coach Jeremy Bates on a temporary basis. And then finally selected former World No.1 Angelique Kerber’s coach, Torben Beltz. However, after just five months, she decided to stop the partnership with Beltz as well. Thus, attracting questions regarding the frequent changes of coaches.

Emma Raducanu Justifies Her Actions
Recently, while in an interview, Raducanu addressed her frequent coaching changes and said, “That is definitely a journey [where] I’m learning on the way. But it’s just what works for me as an individual.”
“It might not work for anyone else and people might look at me like I’m crazy. But I trust my own decision-making and my own beliefs of what I think is right for myself. I’m pretty confident in how I’m working and my mindset and outlook towards how I’m approaching my tennis right.” She added.

Raducanu Speaks About Carlos Alcaraz

Raducanu took a first round exit from the Italian Open owing to the pain caused by her past injury. After losing the first set by 2-6, her back restricted her movement to the bare minimum.
Therefore, she was forced out of the match in the second set. Thereafter, while speaking to the press, the Brit spoke about the ATP Madrid champion, Carlos Alcaraz. And said, “What he is doing this year is incredible, he is playing so well and it is impressive. He has made physical progress over the past year and they have certainly helped him. It’s nice that at this age he is already so strong.”
Further, Raducanu is willing to take part in the upcoming French Open. Though she is not ready to risk her health for the event. Therefore, Emma’s participation solely depends upon her physical condition at the time of the Roland Garros begins.
