Venus Williams is still a very prominent name in the world of tennis. Even though she has been away from the WTA circuit, she is still one of the most followed tennis athletes around the world. Very recently, she visited Paris with her sister, Isha Price.

The main purpose of the trip was to go to Louis Vuitton and Virgil Abloh’s Fashion show, which Venus Williams visits on a regular basis. But this show was more important as it was their last show together because of the demise of the famed designer Virgil Abloh last year.

Venus Williams’ special visit to Paris

The tennis star said that she loved Virgil Abloh’s work, and she is extremely inspired by him. She is still brokenhearted over the saddening news but is also keen to celebrate his accomplishments in life. 

Venus was also a special attendee at Abloh’s show, and this time she went in with one of the “LV” collections to the show.

Venus had also visited the Miami tribute to Abloh on 30th Nov 2021. That was Abloh’s 1st and last show on American soil. Citing the possibility of an emotional show, Venus said, “It’s gonna be so emotional, so I mean it couldn’t be more emotional than the one in Miami. That was just heartbreaking.”

Venus Williams expressed her desire to go home because of the flooded emotions in the Miami show. Many other celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Kid Cudi were also present at the Miami show.

Venus off-court works

Though the elder of the Williams sister is away from the court activities, she is very connected with her fans through social media.

She dedicated her time to speak about the mental health issues among the individuals and also how to deal with them. Teaming up with her sister, Serena Williams, she was part of another fashion adventure and posed for the Harper’s Bazaar magazine.
