Coco Gauff and Cameron Brink are founding a mutual admiration society! The WNBA rookie modeled an outfit after the American tennis star a few days ago, citing the inspiration behind her new threads. While Gauff was quick to acknowledge her response with an Instagram story, it looks like she had a lot more to say.

In a recent interview conducted by the Roland Garros press after her third consecutive win, Coco Gauff expressed her views about the budding WNBA star’s praise of her. “It was really cool. I haven’t got the chance to meet Cameron yet, but obviously been watching her a lot when she was at Stanford and now seeing her in the WNBA is great, and I definitely want to try to catch a game,” the 20-year-old said, acknowledging the recent incident along with promising to book tickets for one of Brink’s games in the future.

Both Gauff and Brink are closely associated with the renowned sportswear giant New Balance. Expressing a wish for the brand to take up a new project, Gauff added, “I hope one day maybe — New Balance is my team. I hope they give her a signature shoe one day, and I can rock it too for my press events. Yeah, she’s awesome.”
