Awe and praises have been showering upon her from all over the world. Moreover, the young Polish player has swooned the hearts of people outside the tennis realm as well. Lindsey Vonn, American alpine skier, congratulated Iga on her astounding victory.

World champion showering praises on Iga Swiatek

Lindsey Vonn is an American Alpine Skier and a world champion took to Twitter to congratulate Iga Swiatek. She shared Rolex’s post with a caption, “On a roll @iga_swiatek”.

Furthermore, the Rolex’s post stated, “Congratulations @iga_swiatek on claiming back-to-back titles at the @InteBNLdItalia, an incredible performance from the World No. 1 winning her 5th consecutive title.

Rise of the Polish sensation

Iga has aced 2022 and has continued to only rise. The Polish player increased her winning streak to 28 matches after she defeated Ons Jabeur at the Italian Open finals.

Moreover, she has broken Serena’s record of winning 27 matches continuously. Subsequently, Iga Swiatek broke her record by winning the finals at the Italian Open and claiming her 28th consecutive victory.

Meanwhile, she has won her fifth consecutive title this year and it will not be a shock if her sixth one comes out to be the French Open grand slam title. Given her form on the court this year, it will be a delight to watch her win Roland Garros once again after she claimed the title in 2020. It would, however, be exciting to watch her contenders stop the Polish player from winning the title.
