The 33-year-old tennis player made a stunning comeback to competitive tennis after defeating Kimberly Birrell in the first round of the Canadian Open. Just after the first round during the press conference, the former world number one tennis player talked about her daughter, Olivia Wozniacki Lee, and shared how she harbors a happy spirit regarding her mother’s comeback.
She revealed how, just before stepping out for her Montreal comeback, her daughter made a clear wish to her regarding how she would like to see her mother on the court. She recalled, “I tried to explain to Olivia’s going to play a match and she goes, “Okay Mama, I have a wish, I wish you win.” I was like, where did she get that from so that was pretty cool.”
Well, not only her two-year-old daughter, but a lot of tennis fans who are excited to see her back on the court would definitely want her to win the tournament and cement her name as one of the tennis players who won tournaments even after becoming a mother.
