The Serbian tennis star, Ana Ivanovic, retired from the professional tennis circuit back in 2016. However, during the twilight years of her tennis career, Ivanovic was staring at the dawn of her new journey. Yes! the former World No.1’s retirement started her new journey as an entrepreneur. Who was the person that pushed the WTA star towards entrepreneurship?
The Serbian tennis star, took the tennis world by storm when she claimed the Roland Garros title at the young age of 20. And since then, it has been a long and rewarding journey for the former World No 1, who pocketed 15 WTA singles titles.

Ana Ivanovic opens up about her inspiration and entrepreneurship journey
In a recent interview with EssentiallySports, Ana Ivanovic, revealed that it was none other than the famous Hollywood actress, Jessica Alba, who inspired her to channelize her energy towards entrepreneurship. Opening up about her life in Chicago, and how she came across the American actress’ product.
She said, “Yes, absolutely, we lived in Chicago for 3 years and actually our kids are born in Chicago. And while being there, being so conscious about being organic and being natural. I was always searching for different products and so I tried some of her products and, of course, over the last years she has developed enormously.”

The French Open champion’s preference for organic and baby products pulled her towards the American actress’s brand ‘Honest’; which Jessica Alba launched as a new mom to find organic alternatives to harmful chemical baby products.

And hence, this acted as a catalyst for the former World No.1 as she further detailed, “And it the beginning she was doing a lot of kids and organic shampoos, handwash and laundry detergents and so on. And so I started to explore that, to use it with my kids. So it was kind of an inspiration for me to create something of my own. Because I really started to become not only a fashion lover. But also a beauty lover when my career was towards the end”
