Just recently it was announced that the tennis sensation’s elder daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Junior has signed a massive deal with an entertainment studio. Internet first animation studio Invisible Universe has signed a partnership deal with Serena Williams’ elder daughter Olympia through Republic Records: Kids & Family. The partnership is for Qai Qai, a doll inspired by Olympia. The company wants to release a new song starring the doll which is called ‘Dancing on the Moon’ this Friday. Featuring Grammy-nominated Johnny Goldstein on the track, Qai Qai is voiced by none other than Sydn.ey Elise Russell.

The young sensation performed impeccably in Frozen and The Lion King on Broadway and among her many fans is Olympia Williams! After the news broke, Serena Williams stated, “Olympia loved seeing Sydney Russell perform on Broadway in The Lion King and is so excited to listen to her sing as Qai Qai on the upcoming album. Watching Invisible Universe and Republic Records: Kids & Family make this first song a reality has been amazing. Our family can’t wait to listen, sing along, and dance to Qai Qai’s new music.”
This album is truly one of the milestone achievements for her daughter and we are nothing short of certain that there will be more of them to come. This is not the first big deal though that Qai Qai has collected with Olympia’s backing. They have also previously partnered with Adobe and Invisible Universe.

Qai Qai and Olympia creating waves in the community
According to PEOPLE, Qai Qai, along with Invisible Universe and Adobe, created a free coloring book, especially for Black children, as well as to create art that resonates with the dreams they have about their future.

The digital coloring book highlights five primary careers and they are small business owner, film editor, fashion designer, game developer, and structural engineer. Olympia’s father Alexis Ohanian also stated, “I know one thing four years ago that was really important to us was to make sure that Olympia had a Black baby doll.” Who knew a doll would lead to something so massive and meaningful?
