Serena Williams is one player, people will bring up in the GOAT debate. Williams has earned that right. She has performed amazing record-breaking feats during her career. She broke Steffi Graf’s record of 22 Grand Slam titles. Williams has an overall 73 titles at the end of her career. The ‘Queen of the Court’ has won the Australian Open seven times, but her final AO win was an achievement no one will ever forget. She won the tournament while she was pregnant. However, she took a dig at her fellow WTA players as her opponents didn’t pick up on her shortcomings during the Open.
Serena faced her sister Venus Williams in the final. The younger sister emerged triumphant in straight sets with a score of 6-4, 6-4.

While interviewing with Norah O’Donnell on CBS, Williams recalled her triumph in the 2017 Australian Open. O’Donnell reminded her about the event and Williams herself wasn’t sure how she achieved it.
“Yeah, that was a little crazy, though. I don’t know that was; I don’t know how that happened,” Serena said.
O’Donnell then asked Williams if she was aware of the pregnancy at that point. Williams responded that she knew about it. The legendary former tennis player also roasted her fellow WTA players when talking about her AO victory. She said that she was finding it difficult to play points that went beyond five or six rallies. But luckily for her, no one noticed it and she went on to win the Grand Slam, and broke a longstanding record.
“I did, and it was crazy because I was I couldn’t play long points if you go back and look at it all my points are like five, six balls and if they were longer than that, I would lose the next point but nobody picked up on it so I was happy,” Serena said.

Venus Williams hilariously calls Serena’s win unfair
Venus Williams faced her sister in the 2017 Australian Open final and suffered a loss. Her sister, who was pregnant at the time, triumphed with straight sets. In a podcast with Rennae Stubbs, Venus opened up about her defeat and called it unfair.

Stubbs shared the notion of Venus playing against two players teasingly. Venus replied affirmatively, saying that after seeing Olympia’s athleticism, Serena had an added advantage over her.
Nevertheless, one can say after all that Serena has achieved in terms of records, she has earned the bragging rights to troll her fellow players a bit.
