The video received immense popularity on the internet with fans wanting to know more about Parks.
A fan has broken down the immense strategizing required to score this shot and couldn’t help but praise Alycia for it.
The athleticism required on this shot is inexplicable. The change of direction, tweener and lobbing with topspin to give the ball a chance. Insane.

Alycia stands at a career-high ranking of 75 in singles and 56 in doubles as of December 2022. 2022 was a good season for Parks, considering her Ostrava Open moment. The 22-year-old tennis pro has officially made it to the quarterfinals of the Lyon Open in the singles category.
However, that is not just it. In the doubles category, Alycia teamed up with her Chinese counterpart Zhang Shuai to reach the quarterfinals. In a cut-throat competition that ensued this morning, they were beaten by Cristina Bucsa and Bibiane Schoofs. Alycia’s singles quarterfinals is to be held tomorrow.
