Naomi Osaka may have had a series of ups and downs during her hard-court season. However, that doesn’t seem to stop the Japanese star from being one of the most promising players on the tour. In Paris for the French Open, Osaka recently released her Roland Garros collection by Nike.
Being in her prime in 2018-19, Osaka roped several brands as her sponsors during that time. American sports apparel brand Nike was one of them. Engaging in a $10 million per year deal in 2019, the brand today is one of the major sponsors of the former World No. 1. Reciprocating the same, Osaka also adds a humongous value to the brand’s image. Thanks to her mighty fan following. Taking the collaboration forward, Nike called on Osaka to release its latest collection.

Osaka releases her Roland Garros collection
Polishing her clay-court skills in Madrid, Osaka is now in Paris to kick-off her Roland Garros campaign. Attending practice sessions on the courts of Stade Roland Garros, Osaka seems to be getting back in form as she prepares for the final showdown.
Recently, taking some time off from her intense training session, the 24-year-old visited Nike’s House of Innovation in the French capital. The 4-time Grand Slam champion visited the House of Innovation to introduce her latest Nike collection. Being a prominent athlete, her presence in no time gathered huge crowds around the store.
Taking to their Instagram handle, Nike women gave a glimpse of the launch event. The post featured Osaka in one of the outfits of the latest collection. Sharing moments from the launch event, Nike women wrote, “When you’re Naomi Osaka and you’re in Paris for a major 🎾 event, you stop by Nike’s House of Innovation to introduce your latest Nike collection. It’s called being multi-faceted 💅 Emulate the Naomi in you and shop her collection in our IG shop.”

Naomi Osaka at Roland Garros
Looking at the stats, the clay court hasn’t been a surface of much success for Osaka. Even after 5 appearances on the clay courts of Paris, Osaka’s best result remains reaching the third round on three occasions. However, in the gone by months, Osaka asserted that clay is a surface on which she hasn’t explored her full potential.
Osaka suffered an early round exit in Madrid. However, her confidence might be the driving force for her anticipated successful performance at Roland Garros. The Japanese star will kick off her Roland Garros 2022 campaign against 27th seeded American, Amanda Anisimova.
