He’s amazing,” Serena Williams said after the 43-year-old Tom Brady led the Buccaneers to Super Bowl LV victory in 2021, highlighting her deep mutual admiration for the Footballing legend. But their bond goes beyond sports! Last year, Brady honored Serena’s legacy after watching “In The Arena: Serena Williams” showing his appreciation for the tennis icon. And, now, their friendship is back in the spotlight, as Brady recently sent her a special gift.

Time and again, Brady and Williams have showcased their admiration for each other, leaving fans from both sporting worlds in awe. Remember the “Taylor Swift Eras Tour” in Miami last year? A memorable moment was shared by the two sports figures at Hard Rock Stadium. Or how about their on-court inspiration? When Serena dominated Laura Siegemund 6-1, 6-1 in her quest for a 24th Grand Slam at the Australian Open, she referenced Brady’s historic ‘seventh’ Super Bowl victory, saying, “It’s unbelievable. I just was watching as much as I could to see. My only word is it’s unbelievable. I kept saying: ‘This is unbelievable, this is unreal”

Or let’s rewind to 2016, when Serena took to her Snapchat, revealing Brady as her favorite football player, saying, “Sorry that everyone knows you’re my favorite,” The NFL legend later responded, “And you’re mine,” Now, their friendship takes yet another turn, as the football GOAT has sent the tennis icon a fitting ‘GOAT’ gift.

Just a couple of hours ago, Serena Williams took to her IG Story to reveal a special gift from none other than Tom Brady. As she unwrapped it, she found a pack of “GOAT Gummies” – a French-made, organic, vegan treat, perfectly fitting for a legend like her. And even she got a hamper, quoting “For GOATS”!

But this exchange of gifts isn’t new between the two parties! Beyond Serena, even her husband, Alexis Ohanian, a known Brady admirer, has sent the NFL legend gifts from time to time, while always picking something he’d love. Take, for instance, the time Ohanian gifted Brady a “Joe Montana Duel Autograph Card”, to which the quarterback responded, “Thank you for the amazing and thoughtful surprise, Alexis Ohanian. My childhood idol Joe Montana. I never thought I would be on a card with him and now I have one,”

As of now, both sporting legends have stepped away from their respective games, leaving behind legacies that will be remembered forever. However, Serena’s admiration for Brady has remained evident over the years. This was most notable when the NFL icon announced his second retirement, and she once again expressed her deep respect for the incredible career the footballing legend had.

It’s none other than the legendary Tom Brady! These staggering career stats define the greatness of the ultimate comeback king, who finally hung up his boots after rewriting NFL history a couple of years ago.

However, like every athlete, Brady also faced the inevitable crossroads. In February 2022, he initially announced his retirement, admitting that he no longer felt the same level of commitment. But as we all know, that wasn’t the end just yet ….

He came back again and later retired again for the last time while stating, “love my family. I love my teammates. I love my friends. I love my coaches. I love football. I love you all. I am truly grateful on this day. Thank you,”. 

And when Jimmy Fallon asked her if she wanted to do the same after committing retirement, Serena added, “Maybe I’m evolving to coming back.” She further continued: “You know what? Tom Brady started an amazing trend. That’s what I want to say. I think retirement is something that’s super-earned, that people work really hard for. But I just feel like I’m at an age where I definitely have a lot more to give, there’s a lot more I want to do, and so, I’m not going to be relaxing, there is so much more for me and I feel it’s more like an evolution of Serena.”
