Mirra Andreeva’s rapid rise has stunned the tennis world! Fans have now become more curious to know about this 17-year-old tennis sensation. Like Coco Gauff, she is quite mature considering her age, be it on-court or off-court. We often see her showcasing a fair bit of maturity whenever she appears on the TV screen. Because of the curiosity around this teenager, Andreeva, during a recent interview with Tennis Channel, was asked if most of her friends are of her age or older than her. Here’s what she revealed in her reply.
“I would say that most of my friends are a bit older than me and I’ve never had so many friends. Like I have a couple, of course. I was always hanging out with my sisters and cousins. And, they’re all older than me, so I had to keep up. Yeah, so just all of the people that I talk to are a bit older than me,” said Andreeva after securing her spot in the R16 of the Cincinnati Masters. Is this the secret formula to incredible performances?
Andreeva reached the SF of the 2024 French Open and she recently won the title at the IASI Open as well. Surely, we can expect a few more titles in the near future from this rising star.
