Alexis Ohanian about Olympia’s doll’s increasing popularity

Ohanian recently took to Twitter to interact with fans and shared his concern. He addressed how Olympia’s Qai Qai doll has more reach than him. “4,000,000 followers. That’s more followers for my daughter’s doll on one social media platform than I have on all of mine COMBINED (I’m only at 1.6M). Impressive, QQ.” He wrote.

Thereafter, he added, “I clearly need to make more pancake videos.” The doll touched the headlines and caught many parents’ attention when it first appeared in Serena Williams’ story alongside Olympia.

The five-year-old’s doll now has around 4 million followers on social media. Further, it has been adapted as a character for a specific YouTube series as well. The studio responsible for the animation is ‘Invisible Universe’ and the voice artist for the doll is Taikirha Miller.

Ohanian’s tour to England

The 39-year-old is a free-spirited person and never shies away from showcasing how big of a Williams fan he is. Therefore, when the seven-time Wimbledon champion announced her comeback, he traveled alongside her in order to witness the legend’s return and support her. Also, he carried Olympia with him to complete his cheerleading squad.

However, with some time in hand before Williams ran in the grass swing, he explored the nation a little.
