Naomi Osaka reveals lesser-known facts about her personal life

In a recent interview with the US Weekly, Naomi Osaka answered 25 things fans did not know about her.

However, one answer that stood out from the rest was about her biggest fear. The 23-year-old Japanese is often carrying a lot on her mind, and her answer proved so. “My biggest fear is disappointing people,” Naomi said.

Considering her on and off-court activities, the young Japanese player is far from disappointing anybody. Instead, she has only been gaining tremendous love and following from all around the world.

Osaka also revealed that she loves plain vanilla ice cream without any toppings. “Nothing can top a plain bowl in my eyes,” she justified. Speaking about her other likes, the former World No. 1 expressed her love for cooking. She said, “I really love cooking. I got to experiment with it during quarantine – and it just made me love it even more.”

She also seems to have a penchant for music and said that she would always be star-struck by American singer-songwriter Beyoncé.

What else does Naomi Osaka like?

Osaka said that she wanted to become a tennis player right from the beginning and admitted having Serena Williams and Billie Jean King’s pictures on her wall.

Her favorite tennis memories have happened in the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York. “[There’s] something about being in New York — it’s just a cool atmosphere,” the Japanese player said.

The World o. 2 is a dog person, and her favorite emoji is the Loudly Crying Face. Speaking about her quirkier traits, Osaka confessed to being crazy about brushing teeth and does not drink coffee. She also spoke about how she hopes to visit Hawaii, which is next on her vacation list.
