Osaka grabbed the butterfly with her gentle hands and walked towards the sideline to release it. However, the butterfly again flew back to sit on Osaka’s nose. It was an amusing moment for the crowd as well as everyone watching on TV. The Japanese player finally released the butterfly with applause from the whole stadium.

After seeing the incident, the Australian Open Twitter handle wrote, “Even the butterflies in Australia love Naomi Osaka.”

Naomi is from Japan, and it should not surprise anyone that she loves Manga and Anime (although its popular worldwide, too). That’s why she is really excited about her digital manga collection. Her sister Mari has drawn the whole manga and the main character is “Yōsei, the fairy”, inspired by the butterfly.
