The tennis season is shifting gears—trading the sizzling Australian hard courts for the gritty European clay. And trust me, that change is no cakewalk! While some players dive into tournaments, others hit the grind with intense practice sessions. And falling into the latter category is none other than Naomi Osaka. The Japanese star is back in action, training hard to make a smashing comeback. But hey, it wouldn’t be Osaka without a splash of fun, right? Staying true to her quirky vibe, she gave fans a sneak peek into her training reality—complete with candid moments that prove even serious athletes know how to keep it light.

The Japanese tennis sensation played her latest campaign at the Australian Open. Osaka withdrew from the third round of the tournament against Belinda Bencic mid-match owing to struggles caused by a strained abdominal muscle. However, she is back into action now and is gearing up for more tournaments going forward. But it seems like Osaka’s troubles aren’t completely over yet, as she revealed how grueling her training gets at times.

Taking to her Instagram, the 27-year-old shared insights into her practice session. In the video she shared, Osaka can be seen training and practicing to hit shots on the courts. While there is no racket in her hands, Osaka is engaging in shadow drills to improve her skills. But what caught the attention was her one-word caption to the post, as Osaka wrote, “🫨🫨🫨 everyday.” But there’s more.

Osaka also shared the video on her story and captioned it with two emojis – “🫨🫨.” This highlights how intense her practice session gets at times and how grueling it becomes for the star player. Notably, this is not the first time when Osaka has shared such a reaction to her training sessions.

Naomi Osaka shared a string of pictures and videos from the first day of her pre-season practice in November last year. In one of these pictures, she was seen lying on the court with her tennis kit near her head. Osaka bluntly revealed the tiring nature of the training sessions and highlighted how she barely “survived” the sessions. In the video, Osaka said, “I am making a video on how we survived the first day of preseason,” sharing how she faced certain challenges despite eventually managing to sail through. She further expressed her challenges in the caption as she wrote, “It’s giving “call the ambulance 🚑😭”
