Serena Williams, the 23-time Grand Slam champion, found her soulmate in Alexis Ohanian. The co-founder of Reddit and the tennis legend tied the knot in 2017. Also, they welcomed their firstborn Olympia that year.

Since then, the father-daughter duo has been Williams’ biggest cheerleader. They have shown support to the iconic lady and have treated her like the queen she is. Speaking of which, on Monday, she turned 41 and Ohanian decided to make her feel special without breaking the customs of their faith.

Speaking of them as a family, they are always there for each other and share a close-knit relationship. In fact, all three members of the Ohanian family are co-owners of the Los Angeles based soccer team Angel City FC.
The former world no.1 and Ohanian have taken several steps to ensure that Olympia has a bright and hasslefree future. One of those decisions is them naming their five-year-old alongside themselves and renowned stars such as Natalie Portman, the owner of the NWSL team.

The seven-time Wimbledon champion, after returning to the circuit in London, decided to hang her racket. The 41-year-old broke the news of her farewell and chose her home Grand Slam for her last dance.
Williams signed up for the WTA 1000 events of Toronto and Cincinnati to oil her skills before the US Open. She started her journey in the hard courts of the American majors by defeating Danka Kovinić in straight sets.

Thereafter, she took down the second seed and former world no.2 Anett Kontaveit to keep her record of making it to the second round of the US Open, intact. However, she said goodbye to her 27-year-long career with teary eyes in the round of 32. She played her last game against Ajla Tomljanovic and walked out with a 5-7 7-6(4) 1-6 defeat.
