World No.3 Naomi Osaka recently won her match at the Australian Open 2021. Facing Garbine Muguruza in the fourth round, the Japanese star made a spectacular comeback after losing the first set. The final scoreline of the match read 4-6, 6-4, 7-5.
With this win, Naomi Osaka booked a spot for herself in the quarters of the Australian Open 2021 to butt heads with Hsieh Su-wei. Hsieh has played some brilliant tennis in the tournament so far and has just lost one set.
In the post-match interview, Osaka revealed what is so challenging about Hsieh’s game. She believes that the Chinese player definitely has quite a unique gameplay, which is interesting to watch.

“I mean, have you watched her play? It’s like, What?” said Osaka during an interview with a laugh.
She also highlighted that if she ever played a video game, she would always select Hsieh’s character. She feels that the Chinese player has a great sense of shot selection and makes some good choices on the court.
“She’s one of those players that, for me, if it was a video game, I would want to select her character just to play as her. Because my mind can’t fathom the choices she makes when she’s on the court,” added the 3-time Grand Slam champion.

Osaka admitted that she just loves to watch Hsieh play. However, she said that it was only fun to watch as she would not like to play like that. “It’s so fun to watch. It’s not fun to play, but it’s really fun to watch,” concluded Osaka.
It’s certainly going to be an epic encounter when Naomi Osaka finally goes up against Hsieh Su-wei in the quarters. Both players look in incredible form and will surely aim to win the match and advance to the semis.
