Out of all the things that Serena Williams excels in, fitness stands to be one of the most important ones. Everything seemed easy for the tennis star back when she used to dominate the courts and it was all because of her fitness levels. However, now that she is ahead of her professional career and a mother of two, her fitness goals still don’t seem to be far off.

Serena Williams has had a lot of significant changes in her life since she retired. Besides being involved in several businesses, she is also a mother of two. Recently, she shared a video on Instagram that gave a glimpse of her present fitness routine.

Recently, Serena shared a reel on Instagram in which she can be seen performing a hard inner thighs workout. Along with the video, she wrote a motivating caption that said, “LISTEN – I stay on “ready set” in case I have to RUN 🏃🏿‍♀️ and grab baby @adiraohanian …. But until then – burn inner thighs, BURN.”

Serena Williams has always been concerned about her physical fitness and therefore, has followed a tough schedule to maintain that. While everyone might think that her post-retirement life would be just as every other parent and businesswoman, she keeps proving them wrong.

As soon as the video started to gain the attention of followers, a huge series of comments followed. A fan, complementing the legend’s fitness in a fun way, wrote, “Something” tells me Serena is staying in shape and top fitness because she might come back to the tour …”

Another fan, who drew all the roles that Serena is currently playing along with focusing on her fitness levels, commented, “Full time job, being a parent. Look at this Queen, serving herself, while being ready for her baby with that carrier on!!”

While some people stand out with their unique comments, others like to keep it simple. “What a badass,” a fan complimented the 42-year-old legend. Besides this, a fan took the workout schedule to a total surprise as she commented, “Lord how my leg would’ve snapped off like one of them Barbie legs and flew in the air.”

The trail of comments continued and a fan came forward with a rather lifting comment. “I can’t say this is a comeback….she never left. But I feel something,” he wrote. With these and several other reactions, the fans appreciated the strong levels of enthusiasm that Serena carries, even after her withdrawal from the tennis scenario.

Serena’s workout to stay fit during pregnancy

Finding the extent of Serena Williams’ dedication to working out and staying fit seems to be difficult. While her recent video of working out beside daughter Adira was one thing, her workout schedule during pregnancy was a completely different story. Back in August last year, when Serena was about to welcome Adira into her family, she shared insights about her workout schedule to stay with, even during the tough period of pregnancy.

“I wanted to show you all how I am staying fit while being pregnant at the same time. A very difficult thing to do but I learned that when you’re pregnant you burn so many calories. As much as a triathlon athlete. So I’m trying to take advantage of that and continue to burn those calories,” she said in the video. While the tennis legend has always been carrying high spirits of being physically fit herself along with sharing the steps for her fans, fitness has never been an option but a necessity for her.
