Caroline Wozniacki is leading a happy life off the court after her retirement from tennis in 2020. The player is pregnant with her second child with her husband, former basketball player David Lee.

Earlier, in her playing days, Caroline dated Irish golfer Rory McIlroy. However, her dating life with the former world no. 1 golf player didn’t last long as the two soon broke up after getting engaged.

The professional golfer once opened up about meeting his present wife and took a subtle dig at his past dating life with Caroline Wozniacki.

The Danish tennis star was at the peak of her career in 2010-2011. This was the same time when she had met professional golfer Rory McIlroy. They both had decided to tie the knot in 2014. However, the groom took a step back and broke up with Wozniacki over a phone call. After that, he met PGA employee Erica Stoll. They dated for a few months before getting engaged at the end of 2015.

Talking about his relationship with Erica, he said, “The thing I love about it is that we were friends before anything romantic happened.” He further added, “We met when she was working for the PGA of America and renting a condo in Palm Beach.”

The golf player hinted at different light and said, “And I found it refreshing being with someone who was living a normal life rather than, ‘Oh! My jet is 30 minutes late!'”

After her breakup with Rory, Caroline met basketball player David Lee and married him in 2019. The couple has a beautiful daughter and this year Wozniacki announced that she is expecting another child.

Caroline Wozniacki rose to the top of the WTA ranking list in 2010 and 2011. During that time, she became the world no. 1 player. The player clinched her sole grand slam title in 2018 against Simona Halep at the Australian Open.
