The clay season this year is now taking a step further ahead and the time is finally coming up for the second grand slam of the year, Roland Garros. With the event just a couple of weeks away, the fans are all excited to see their favorite players in action in a bid to lift the prestigious title. One amongst them will be Aryna Sabalenka. Gearing up for the event, Nike recently upskilled their game as they introduced the kit for the Belarusian’s campaign at the event. However, as soon as the kit came out, there were mixed emotions across the globe from the fans.
While some suggested that the kit did wonders, some were just not satisfied with the billion-dollar brand. The main color of the dress is inspired by clay and further, it has white shades to make it look more appealing. However, the fans were not at all happy with the brand’s creativity.
At the 2024 Australian Open, Saba ditched the collection’s pastels for a striking all-red Nike Court Dri Fit Slam Dress and matching Nike Air Zoom NXT shoes, solidifying her preference for strong colors. This contrasts with her custom pink Nike outfit worn during the 2023 US Open, showcasing her diverse yet impactful fashion choices.

One user came ahead and suggested that the dress was the same as the Australian Open and the US Open. “It’s just the same kit as USO and AO but different pattern like at least change the color, Nikeflop,” said the fan who could find a difference in the patterns.

He was further accompanied by another fan who suggested that the kit more or less looks like the one which Adidas rolled out last year only. “Looks a bit like last year’s Adidas kit,” said the fan who could not seem too amazed by the jersey.
This fan then took out her frustration at the kit and suggested that her eyes hurt when she saw the pattern. “My eyes hurt when I look at the pattern,” said the fan who was not a big fan of the white patterns in the dress.
This fan then joined and suggested that if not for Sabalenka, there’s nothing good in the dress. “shes making it look good tbh. but it is bad lmao,” said the fan while expressing his disappointment with the latest drop from Nike.
Last, but not least, this fan came ahead and said that Aryna Sabalenka hates it. “You can tell she hates it,” said the fan despite Aryna Sabalenka’s pretty smile in the picture.
Thus, Nike released Aryna Sabalenka’s kit for the upcoming Roland Garros, the fans were quick to offer their opinion on it. From their reaction, it was quite clear that they did not like the dress. However, this is not the first time when any brand has been latched on by the opponents for their poor choices of kits.

Before Aryna Sabalenka’s kit for the clay season, Iga Swiatek’s kit also faced major backlash
Apparently, playing in the Stuttgart Open, Iga Swiatek suffered an unexpected loss at the hands of Elena Rybakina, who then went ahead to claim the title. Amidst the toll of the loss, her fan army was quick to brutally slam On Running, a company backed by the one and only Roger Federer for poorly designing her dress. Some fans suggested instead of bringing in new kits, they bring the same old kits that she wore during the hard court season.
World number one Iga Swiatek’s bid to win a third successive Stuttgart Open title came to an end in an enthralling 6-3 4-6 6-3 semi-final loss to Elena Rybakina on Saturday.https://t.co/E9rGDFc5Vg
