Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian are more than global icons—they’re devoted parents who never let their star-studded schedules overshadow their love for family. Whether it’s Ohanian juggling his tech ventures or Williams dazzling in her off-court appearances, the couple always makes time for their daughters, Olympia and Adira. This time, the spotlight is on their eldest, Olympia, as the proud parents go above and beyond to support her in a heartwarming and remarkable way.
Taking to Instagram, Ohanian shared a couple of visuals detailing that he along with his wife are participating in her daughter Olympia’s ballet function and even appeared on the stage for a performance of The Nutcracker. In yet another picture that he shared on Instagram, the couple can be seen together, donning red and black attire on the stage as the play progresses. What caught the attention further was Ohanian’s hilarious statement for her daughter.
In the video he shared on his Instagram story, Ohanian said, “That time of the year. Mrs and I are husband and wife, on stage as well, for Nutcracker, this ballet. I was gonna say we steal the show but no one is paying attention. Continuing further, he added, “Core memory, Olympia!” highlighting how the performance is equally special for the proud parents. Interestingly, this is not the first time when the couple has expressed such support for their daughter’s passion for ballet.

In 2022, Ohanian took to his Instagram to share pictures with his wife Serena Williams, and daughter as they beamed together with bouquets of flowers. “First ballet recital for @olympiaohanian in the books 🙌 proud of you, Junior! (The ring pop was not part of the performance),” Ohanian captioned the photo. A similar gesture was witnessed last year as well.
Alexis Ohanian and the tennis great donned a 19th-century garb and appeared on the stage for the same performance of The Nutcracker. The couple were dressed up as party guests during one scene with the little dancers, and the legendary tennis player even did a curtsy on stage, per TMZ. Their latest performance, meanwhile, has further highlighted the support and the love that the couple bestows on their children. It is probably for this reason that Ohanian even slammed his critics who questioned him for spending too much time with his daughters.

When Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian shut critics in style
Alexis Ohanian is not just a successful business mogul but also a true family man. From spending leisure time with his daughters to taking them out on dinners and fun activities, Ohanian never fails to set dad goals. However, he has witnessed some criticism from his business colleagues who criticize him for spending more time on his daughters than his business. But the ‘Business Dad’ seems to accept no offense especially when the center of the discussion is his daughters.
Speaking to Taylor Smith for the Offseason NFC podcast, Ohanian opened up on the criticisms he witnesses. “I have business folks I work with. I have got guys who sincerely think I am not nearly as committed as I am to success at work because they know that side of my persona,” he said. Continuing further, he shut them in style and said, “It’s so wild, because I’m like, bro I know I outwork you, I know my returns are better than you. But I think it’s cute that you have this idea that I can’t be showing up for my kids, making some pancakes, and also show up to beat your a–.” Doesn’t that sum it all up?
