‘More People at a 9U Football Game..’- Tennis Gets a Reality Check as Coco Gauff Takes a Dig After Witnessing Huge Crowd for Brother’s Team

After having a wonderful win at the US Open, Coco Gauff attended two other major tournaments where she could not lift the trophy. This included the China Open and WTA Finals. She still has Billie Jean King trophy to look forward to but that is about it for her this year.  The viewership and support women’s tennis get has always been in question especially due to the disparity between men’s and women’s tennis.

And recently when Coco Gauff saw how a football match with his brother was more popular than some of the tennis matches, she has played, it truly got her. And she took to social media to troll the sport she has been playing for years.

Women’s tennis viewership has always been in the talks when it comes to being compared with men’s tennis or other sports. And not just virtual viewership but actual people showing up in the stands has also been a part of this argument. Recently when Coco Gauff attended her 9-year-old brother Cameron Gauff’s football match, the number of people who showed up for the match was insane. And she felt that it was more than some of the tennis matches too. She posted a small video of the stadium and wrote, “More than at a 9u football game than some of the tennis hahah. Delray Rocks are legendary 3 years undefeated.”

Despite the tennis-football comparison, Coco Gauff always makes sure to support her siblings as they follow suit to their professional careers and sports passions. This is not the first time Gauff has stood in the stands to support her brother Cameron who aspires to be a professional NFL player.

Coco Gauff’s brother, Cameron Gauff has won the Super Bowl 2022 Division Championship. And good thing is that his family especially his sister Coco Gauff continues to be there for him right in the court to cheer for her. Previously also she had posted about her brother playing in her Instagram stories.

Cameron played in Atlanta, Georgia and his sister recorded a few glimpses from the match. She even captioned them and wrote, “Lil bro’ as posted them. This truly shows that Coco Gauff never misses a chance to support her siblings in person as much as she can and attends most of their matches. So that she can continue to be there for them just like they are for her.
