Being an athlete, King follows more than just tennis and is a big fan of baseball. She follows every move of the LA Dodgers and has the privilege of attending their first game as they kick off the new season of MLB. She also clicked pictures with the actor who portrayed Walter White in Breaking Bad.

King has done more for the Dodgers than just being a fan of theirs. She has a big financial stake in the team, which shows her love for them as they aim to go beyond the Division Series this season.

King has shown her love for the Los Angeles-based baseball team several times on her social media. She clicked pictures with Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston, her wife, and two batters practicing on her post. Along with the pictures, she shared the caption, “It’s @mlb Opening Day, and we are so excited to be in LA watching the @dodgers.“

Jumping on to become a minority owner of the team in 2018 was a no-brainer for her. She, along with Ilana Kloss, and her wife, own a share in the team, and both share front-and-center in helping them reach new heights. As they played their opening day game against St Louis Cardinals, King and Kloss could not miss the chance. 

Dodgers had a fantastic start to the season as they beat the Cardinals 7-1. King’s support helped them beat the Cardinals and have a great start to the season. Celebrations are high for the American legend as she and Kloss likely joined the team in the victory after recently attending a party with the VP of the USA.

King celebrates special day with Kamala Harris

King has worked relentlessly to raise the stature of women’s sports, and a celebration of her achievements was due at some point, which has now occurred. Billie Jean King recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of her foundation, the Women’s Sports Foundation, with none other than US Vice President Kamala Harris as the guest of honor.

Along with the Vice President of the United States, the party included former tennis player Ilana Kloss, former USWNT star Ashlyn Harris, One Tree Hill actress Sophia Bush, and many others. The Women’s Sports Foundation has helped improve the situation of women’s sports in the United States, and King was thrilled with the recent gathering of the stars. Her happiness has likely doubled as she sees her favorite team have a great start to the season.
