The clash between Naomi Osaka and Iga Swiatek at the French Open was something that no one would have wanted to miss out on. From evenly tight points to complete dominance, this match has everything that one could have asked for. However, not everyone was able to enjoy the action-packed madness that the match had to offer. The users in the United States, who have been dependent on the Tennis Channel for the match faced disappointment yet again.

The fans, who were eagerly waiting to watch the two friends in action were furious after their fun was severely interrupted by the broadcasting partners. One fan came ahead and suggested that he feels bad for people who do not have access to TC Plus. It has clearly been miserable for them to watch the matches there. “If only Tennis Channel had good distribution. I have TC plus. I feel bad for the many who lack access to TC. Do you still have satellite or cable Dan? I know it’s missing from some of those too,” said the fan.

Highlighting how Naomi Osaka is playing perhaps the best clay court tennis of her life right now, another fan came ahead and suggested that Tennis Channel has not been able to step on multiple occasions and they clearly hate tennis fans. “Tennis Channel hates tennis fans. Incapable of going to break and not missing points upon return. Unreal how consistently awful their broadcast is,” said the fan who was not at all happy with the way things proceeded.

This fans also let out his frustration and slammed TC saying that they do not allow fans to watch the match even when they have proper connection. @TennisChannel makes it impossible to watch their content on their platforms. The app both iPhone +Apple TV refuse to let you watch content even after you’ve authenticated w/cable subscription. Updated/deleted/redownloaded both apps &nothing works. Just want to watch Iva v Naomi,” said the fan who just wanted to watch the match in peace.

Rennae Stubbs is frustrated with the poor quality of her Tennis Channel feed through Spectrum in NYC. She tweeted that it’s so bad she has to resort to watching the channel on the app instead. She jokingly adds that maybe it’s because the technicians (“those comms”) are all men and even Brits (possibly a playful jab at British technical expertise). Another fan also came ahead to speak his mind. He went ahead and slammed the authorities for their poor broadcasting. “Seriously it’s the worst channel….. why are the grand slams not on regular TV,” said the fan who suggested that the grand slams could have been broadcasted on TV.

Last but not least, this fan said that it was incredibly frustrating watching Tennis Channel! They further added that they were really looking forward to catching this match, but streaming issues like technical difficulties, buffering issues, blackout killed the entire mood. f**k you @TennisChannel i want to watch this but i can’t because y’all suck!” said the fan whose disappointment from the broadcaster was clearly on top.

However, this is not the first time that something of this sort has happened to American tennis fans who want to watch tennis matches in peace.

Tennis fans vented out their anger during Iga Swiatek’s final clash against Aryna Sabalenka during Madrid and Rome

During the final of the Italian Open, the fans had to go through the same frustration when Iga Swiatek faced Aryna Sabalenka during the final of the Italian Open. The fans were clearly disappointed as they were not able to view an in-depth coverage. While the points had actually started, they were busy showing commercials. The same happened during the Miami Open as well when players were frustrated after major matches were not showed on the Tennis Channel.

Thus, this is not the first time that something like this has happened. There have been multiple instances when the fans have slammed the broadcasters for their improper coverage. What are your views on this? Do let us know in the comments below!
