The tennis world eagerly awaited the Miami Open draws, scheduled to be revealed today. However, there was a surprise twist when fans found out on social media that the actual draw timings were at 4 PM, not 1 PM as stated on the WTA’s official website. This mistake angered many fans who relied on the website for accurate information.

Coming forward with questions regarding the recent incident, a comment demanded the WTA give an explanation, along with tagging the screenshot of the incorrect information mentioned on the website.

Another comment slammed the WTA with an “incompetent organization” remark, along with mentioning the fact that the website published incorrect information.

Another fan, calculating the extra time that the fans were made to wait for the draw because of the incorrect information, pointed out the organization’s mistake.

A fan, crying out over the fact that he waited for more than a week, just to realize that the mentioned information was incorrect, expressed his disappointed sentiments over the blunder.

The series of similar comments continued as a fan, summed up the whole situation with a, “waiting for nothing” remark along with making the organization realize its mistake.

With these and several other comments down the line, the fans not only expressed their disappointment over the situation but also proved how there is no space for mistakes when it comes to publishing crucial information.

A repetitive array of mistakes by the WTA

This isn’t the first time that the WTA committed a mistake publicly. While everyone gathered at the arena in Abu Dhabi, the announcer attracted the negative sight of the media as well as the fans by referring to Ons Jabeur as Middle Eastern.
