The wait dragged on at the Miami Open, forcing tennis fans to dig deep for their patience. While the city’s weather conditions caused changes in everyone’s schedule, the frustration of the spectators was evident. As the distress of the fans who eagerly waited to watch Naomi Osaka play increased, the broadcasters pulled the rope of venting frustration on social media.

Instead of compensating for the frustration, the management took it to a new level when the live coverage of Naomi Osaka’s match against Elina Svitolina faced significant streaming issues. Shedding light on the concern, renowned journalist Ben Rothenberg took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his disappointment.

Ben stated, “Tennis Channel streaming is a disaster. The Osaka-Svitolina stream is a full changeover + game behind. How does this happen? Never encountered another streaming service that offers lag quite so glacial.” Nevertheless, the best part lied in Osaka’s victory in Round 2.
