Tennis fans currently find it hard to leave their seats as Elena Rybakina faces Victoria Azarenka in Miami. While both the players stand to be highly competitive, they are trying to break each other’s defense, in order to seek mistakes that can help them gain more points to take control of the match.

Soon after the match started, Rybakina came out to be lucky enough as she found the moment that was required to get a better hold of the match. After she returned a shot with her strong forehand, Azarenka made the mistake of pre-assuming it to be out of the line. However, the ball somehow ditched Azarenka’s sight, as it landed just inches inside the court, marking a lost point and a disappointing moment for her.

Although it was just another point with almost half of the match lying in front of them, Azarenka appeared to have taken it seriously, as the disappointment was clearly visible on her face. The confirmation of this point was only made possible because of the accurate Hawkeye vision, that the tennis events are equipped with.

While Rybakina appeared to be overpowered against the Belarusian opponent with one set already by her side, Vika managed to turn the tables, as she bageled Rybakina in the second set, making the current scoreboard depict 6-4, 0-6. However, it still remains to be seen if she manages to take the lead forward.

This wasn’t the first time at the ongoing Miami Open that Victoria Azarenka had to face challenges with the high-tech Hawkeye system. During the quarter-final match between the Belarusian and her Kazakh opponent Yulia Putintseva, the match had to undergo a slight delay because of an unexpected power outage in the Hawkeye system.

Now that she faces an even stronger opponent than the last one, it still remains to be seen who comes up with a victory, to secure a position in the finals, waiting for the other opponent that is yet to be decided between Danielle Collins and Ekaterina Alexandrova.
