American tennis star Danielle Collins has been the center of attraction this year on the WTA Tour. Suffering from endometriosis, the 30-year-old announced her shock retirement decision earlier this season. Collins will bid adieu to the sport after this season, ending her glorious career. However, before that, she is shining bright on and off the court, from winning games to winning hearts.
Collins has reached the finals of the ongoing Miami Open by surprising one and all with her performances in the tournament. Along with her on-court exploits, the American sensation has also been a part of a noble gesture, passing on her tennis experience.

Danielle Collins turns mentor for 3 Florida kids
The American star is giving back to the sport that has given her so much. To do so, she is helping three budding players who are in the early stages of their careers. Talking about this noble deed, Danielle Collins said, “I have three kids that I work with in my area. One’s getting ready to go to college, one is 15, and one is 10 years old. These relationships have meant the world to me.”
More reasons to love Danielle Collins:

Further, she went on to add, “I’ve learned so much through mentoring so I don’t know who gets more out of it, me or these kids. But I walk away feeling so rewarded because I feel like especially the young, young kids, their development happens so quickly.”
While we have seen many players like Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev involved in noble causes through their foundations, Collins’ kind act is one among its kind. She hasn’t had much support in her career, overcoming every struggle alone to reach this level. Not wanting anyone else to go through the same trouble, Collins is trying to pass on her knowledge. However, her recent resurgence is the perfect example of how she has overcome tough times to achieve success on the tennis court.
