The American star felt that her Free People Movement outfit had a lot to do with her performance at the Miami Open. Subsequently, she went on to credit the FP Movement sportswear during an interview at the tournament. Danielle Collins revealed, “Well, I definitely think this outfit, it’s fire. I really like it. This outfit is kind of, my favorite. So I think that’s probably the biggest difference that I know, I played really great tennis that year, too.”
Further, she went on to add, “But I was relatively new to the tour and still learning lots of new things. I’m still learning now, of course, but I have more experience under my belt.” Collins was talking about the 2018 Miami Open, which marked her maiden appearance there. During that tournament, Collins reached the semifinal and also upset Venus Williams en route to her last-four finish.
Back then, Collins sported a Nike cap and blush-pink sports bra. In addition to her FP Movement outfit, Collins is also putting on a lot of physical work to reach the level she is now.
