Even her friend can do it! This time fans have found another way around to annoy the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle by bringing up her tennis friend Serena Williams. There is a video of the 23-time Grand Slam champion curtsying the Queen in a proper way, pointing more questions toward her good friend, and the Duchess of Sussex. 

To the uninitiated, the American member of the British royal family is still in conversations after she made the courtesy joke about Queen Elizabeth II ahead of her first meeting with Prince Harry’s grandmother and the Queen.

Serena Williams’ viral curtsy might turn her into a villain 

Critics can’t get enough of it. They have discovered a new approach to mock Meghan Markle’s ‘curtsy’ joke by pointing to an old video of her friend doing the same. The former American tennis player was at times spotted bowing to the former Queen of England at Wimbledon. 

A video was shared over TikTok, and the user captioned it, “Shocking!…Even Meghan American bestie Serena knew how to curtsy to the queen! no excuses please!”

The footage was captured back in 2010, when the former Queen of England travelled briefly to attend the Wimbledon tournament.

But the manner the Duchess of Sussex mocked their ancient customs infuriated the British populace to no end. But ever since the incident depicted in the Harry & Meghan docuseries on Netflix, fans of the royal family have expressed their displeasure on a number of social media channels. The Curtsy joke was not only making the British people angry; tennis legend Chris Evert also made her  point.
