Nosková fought a great battle in the third round of the first slam of the year. Facing the world number 1 would cause many to tremble in fear. However, Nosková maintained her composure and showed Swiatek her true abilities. She emerged victorious after three sets, with the final score of 3-6, 6-3, 6-4. After her win, several of her past interviews went viral.

In a 2022 interview with the WTA, she revealed a dream she had as a fan of the sport to be clicked with the legends of the game. “A dream come true,” Nosková said. “Actually, I just wanted to have a picture with Serena or Venus before the tournament. Like, this might be my last chance to do that. But I really didn’t expect to be on the greatest court, biggest court out there, along with these two legends.”

Nosková managed to attain a feat that the Williams sisters did several times in their careers. They beat several players ranked 1 and managed to make history many times. The Czechia’s win has the potential to make history if she can recreate a similar performance in the rest of the tour. Her victory over Swiatek evoked mixed reactions from fans as they shared their thoughts on the Polish player’s loss.
