Legendary American tennis player Serena Williams practically dominated all the Grand Slam tournaments throughout her illustrious career. Hence, no one will be surprised to know that many fans and experts call her the greatest of all time.
In 2010, Serena won the Wimbledon Championships, which was her 13th Grand Slam title at that time, a feat that was praised by many former players, including Martina Navratilova. During an interview, she talked about seeing herself in 10 years and her answer was surprisingly accurate.

Serena Williams talked about where she would be in 10 years after winning the 2010 Wimbledon title
Notably, after winning the Wimbledon title in 2010, Martina Navratilova called Serena‘s serve, the best in the women’s game. After hearing such praise from the 18-time Grand Slam champion, Serena said, “It’s amazing. I mean, I’m living in a time where the game is faster than it was several years ago. So this moment, if they say I’m the greatest, I feel good about that, because in a couple years it will be someone else.“
Later, the interviewer asked her whether she will be here at Wimbledon in 10 years. In reply, Serena said, “Hopefully, yeah, if I come. If not, hopefully I’m somewhere, you know, relaxing. Maybe spanking some kids, who knows.”
Speaking about spanking some kids, Serena’s prediction somehow came true, as she gave birth to her daughter Olympia in 2017. Moreover, Serena has added 10 more Grand Slam titles to her tally since the interview, as she currently sits at 23 Grand Slam titles.

While many consider Serena the greatest tennis player ever, she is still one short of winning the most Grand Slam titles in history. Notably, Margaret Court won 24 Grand Slam titles, the most in the history of tennis. After winning the Australian Open in 2017, Serena has yet to win a Grand Slam title.
To date, she has had four opportunities to claim the title, as she reached four Grand Slam finals; 2 Wimbledon and 2 US Open finals. Unfortunately, she lost in all of those finals. At the moment, she is still searching for that single Grand Slam title, as she prepares for the upcoming US Open.
