This nerdy side of her personality shows how her exceptional academic abilities intertwine seamlessly with her success in sports.
The official Instagram account of HSBC recently took to Instagram to share a glimpse into the current activities of Raducanu during her recovery time. Despite her meteoric rise in the world of tennis, she recognizes the importance of maintaining a well-rounded education. In her post, she humorously mentioned that while she’s taking a break, she’s using the opportunity to brush up on her math skills.

In the reel, Raducanu said, “I was that girl at school that’s got her notes like this is one of the books. I went through literally went through I think maybe 10 of these in the last five months of maths A level. So what would I do, I would write all my notes down in scribble form in like a rough notebook. And then as part of my reinforcement of what I just learned, I would neaten them out.”
She added, “I try to memorize, I don’t memorize and I understand what I was writing. I was looking at this 13-mark slope pulley question. The amount of work that went into this is just unbelievable.”
Raducanu expressed her pride in her academic achievements and the effort she consistently put into her studies. She emphasized that, from a young age, she made sure to work hard and dedicate countless hours to her education.
She also explained, “ I was always studying for tests and wanted to do the best I could. So in every exam, I was studying no matter what. It was an end-of-unit exam in year seven or eight like everything just wanted to do right. Math is my best subject and in the end, I was so invested in it and economics. I would have pursued a career in finance and that would have helped me.”

Raducanu expresses her recovery post pain in an Insta post
Raducanu recently decided to withdraw from the Madrid Open due to her ongoing wrist injury. The press conference surrounding her withdrawal was unusual, as she used concise language to express herself. It became apparent that Raducanu was struggling with the effects of her persistent wrist issue. However, there is some positive news, as she will finally undergo the necessary surgery.
